Title IX Attorney

Consilio is currently seeking Title IX professionals to assist one of our university clients in various roles that include Advisor, Investigator, and Hearing/Appellate Officer for Title IX matters. Qualified candidates should have specific experience handling various facets of Title IX cases with large university experience preferred.
This is a remote, part-time role on contract with the client for an indefinite duration. The cases are usually assigned on a project-by-project basis, and there may be long gaps in between assignments. This is therefore a good opportunity for candidates who are looking to supplement their existing incomes with sporadic part-time work. The pay rate for this opportunity is $75-80/hr, depending on qualifications and experience.
Requirements:

JD required
Active law license preferred but not required
3+ years of Title IX-specific experience with preference given to candidates who have worked with or for large universities either as in house counsel or with a specialized firm
Specific experience handling various facets of Title IX cases, such as serving as, e.g., an Investigator, Advisor, and/or Hearing/Appellate Officer for Title IX matters
Ability to work remotely and manage time restraints and billing nuances to meet client needs
Ability to handle “ad hoc” or “project-based” work on an on-going basis
