Tik Tok Shops Supply Chain & Logistics is seeking experienced talents. The team is dedicated to innovating and streamlining Tik Tok Shop's transportation network and this pivotal role is at the forefront of shaping scalable and efficient transportation strategies.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan and coordinate transportation activities with carriers, freight forwarders, and logistics service providers to optimize freight movements, minimize transportation costs, and meet service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Collaborate with procurement, warehouse operations, sales, and customer service teams to align transportation plans with inventory availability, customer demands, and business priorities.
  • Support negotiating carrier contracts, rates, and service agreements based on transportation needs, lane requirements, capacity constraints, and market conditions.
  • Communicate carrier performance metrics, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and conduct performance reviews to evaluate carrier performance, compliance with SLAs, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Utilize transportation management systems (TMS) or logistics software to manage transportation data, track shipment statuses, and optimize routing and scheduling for efficient freight movements.
  • Coordinate with carriers and internal teams to manage transportation exceptions, resolve shipment issues, and ensure timely delivery of goods to customers.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in transportation planning and logistics to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with carriers, internal teams, and stakeholders to achieve transportation goals and objectives.
  • Strong understanding of transportation modes (air, ocean, rail, trucking), carrier networks, freight rates, and transportation regulations. Relevant certifications of handling DG/Hazmat and DOT regulations.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in transportation planning, carrier operations, logistics coordination, or related roles within the logistics and supply chain industry.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in using transportation management systems (TMS), logistics software, and data analytics tools for transportation planning and optimization.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to analyze transportation data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing business needs and market conditions.

Job Information
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $117333 - $219555 annually.



Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
