Job Purpose or Objective(s): The General Manager has complete responsibility of assigned venues within the casino and directly responsible for ensuring profitability, operating efficiency, compliance to Public Health Standards, and customer satisfaction. You will report to the Director of Restaurants. Primary Tasks: 1. You will direct operations, including hiring, training, scheduling, coaching and counseling, auditing/inspecting work to ensure standards are met, promoting teamwork and inclusiveness, scheduling, conducting performance management with staff (reviews, address sub-standard performance). 2. Assist Executive Chef and restaurant management in creating menus that meet the needs of our guests while achieving budget goals. 3. Monitor associates for adherence to Oklahoma ABLE laws and Choctaw Nation policies. 4. Oversee programs to ensure compliance, identify efficiencies, and to reduce costs in all responsibilities. 5. You will respond to client requests to ensure understanding of company standards; investigate on client and guest complaints to maintain positive client and guest relations. 6. Contribute information and make recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; prepare and complete action plans; implement production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; determine system improvements and implement change. 7. Help develop budget and monitor profitability of operations. 8. Recommend and establish pricing and portions for products and services within approved profit and plan guidelines and manage operating expenses and labor costs. 9. Apply government/tribal health regulations and assure those standards are met. 10. Perform other tasks as may be assigned. Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, Restaurant, Foodservice or related field, or 4 years directly related experience.
Serv Safe Certification
Highly organized and adapt to changing priorities
(Word, Excel (can perform complex functions) and Outlook) and Windows XP, including CCT operation.
Written and verbal correspondence skills
Knowledge of government health, hotel, or food service regulations.
Proficient in operational financial management accountability and budgeting.
Five (5) years progressive management experience in a high volume full service casual and fine dining gaming operation.
