YMCA Basketball League Site Supervisor

The YMCA Basketball League Site Supervisor observesthe gym and participants during High School basketball league games, assuring quality programming in a fun, safe and positive environment.

In this role, you can look forward to:

Supervisingactivities on-siteand enforcinggame and venue polices to ensure safety and welfare of members and participants.
Buildingrelationships with participants,helpingthem connect with each other and the YMCA.
Organizing, distributingand returningequipment, including set up and take down.
Helpingto cleanup after each shift, ensuringcleanliness of venueand equipment.
Attendingrequired staff meetings and training.

Part Time:

Wednesday, 8:00 pm-11:00 pm

We are looking for someone who displays the YMCA values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. Knowledge and experience with participating in youth and/or adult sports required. Experience with coaching, officiating, or supervising sports programs preferred. Enthusiasm for YMCA programs and an interest in working with high school youth required.
The High School Basketball 5 on 5 leagueis a game-only program for players in 9th-12thgrades.Teamsplay 3 games to 25 points. Score & standings are kept & aseason ending tournament is held.
