Job Title: Tech - Computed Tomography (CT)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Tech - Computed Tomography (CT) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating CT equipment, conducting diagnostic scans, and providing high-quality images for accurate diagnoses.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Perform CT scans according to physician's orders.
2. Ensure patient safety during imaging procedures.
3. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
4. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide timely and accurate reports.
5. Keep imaging equipment clean and in good working condition.
6. Follow established protocols and guidelines for imaging procedures.
7. Educate patients about the CT scanning process and answer any questions they may have.
8. Participate in continuous education and training to stay current on new technologies and advancements in the field.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
2. ARRT certification in CT imaging.
3. State licensure as a CT Technologist.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
6. Attention to detail and accuracy.
7. Knowledge of radiation safety protocols.
8. Experience with PACS systems and medical imaging software.
