Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform imaging procedures such as X-rays, CT scans, and MRI scans
- Set up and maintain equipment to ensure accuracy and quality of images
- Ensure patient safety by utilizing proper radiation protection techniques
- Review images to ensure they are of good quality and meet diagnostic requirements
- Educate patients on imaging procedures and answer any questions they may have
- Maintain patient records and monitor equipment to ensure proper operation
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnosis and treatment plans
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in radiologic technology
- Active ARRT registration and state license
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a radiologic technologist
- Knowledge of radiology procedures, equipment, and safety measures
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work quickly in a fast-paced environment
