Job Title: Echo-Vascular Technician

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Echo-Vascular Technician to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing echocardiograms and vascular ultrasound procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of various heart and vascular conditions.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Perform echocardiograms and vascular ultrasound procedures following established protocols and guidelines
Prepare patients for procedures and explain the process to alleviate any concerns
Analyze and interpret results to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment plans
Maintain accurate and detailed records of procedures and patient information
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care
Stay current on advancements in echocardiography and vascular ultrasound technology
Uphold patient confidentiality and ensure the safety and comfort of all patients during procedures

Qualifications and Skills:

Associate's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) and Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certifications preferred
Minimum of 2 years of experience in performing echocardiograms and vascular ultrasound procedures
Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathology
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Proficiency in using ultrasound equipment and related technology
Detail-oriented and able to maintain accurate records
