The purpose of this position is to perform produce tanking procedures and maintain grounds, of all produce at the Hurlock facility as mandated by company SOPs. The position also must ensure that GMPs are being followed and that all employees on the tanking platform are working safely.
Primary Job Functions:
- Ensure the produce quality being dumped or being dipped from fermentation tanks meets company standards.
- Ensure tanking procedures are as follows.
- Ensure tanks are clean and sanitary before filling.
- Make brine as needed.
- Undertake heading and opening of tanks when needed.
- Dip tanks as requested.
- Coordinate the repair of tanks with maintenance.
- Assist co-workers whenever necessary.
- Report all and correct unsafe acts.
- Ensure tanking batch sheets are filled out completely and accurately before turning in.
- Assist in unloading of produce from delivery trucks.
