Supervisor, Inspection
Overview:
Provide technical support to the quality and quality engineering (QE) functions. Conducts quality control (QC) inspections on products, materials, components, parts, etc., at various stages of the production process to ensure comliance with established quality and reliability standards. Captures and analyzes statistical data from processes to either confirm compliance with established standards or indentify deviations from standards. Recommends new or enhances methods, procedures and standards.
Major Position Responsibilities:
Oversees and monitors the inspection and testing of materials, parts, and products to ensure adherence to established quality standards.
Establishes inspection protocols, defines sampling procedures, and determines equipment and mechanisms to be used in the testing process.
Recommends changes in specifications of materials, parts, and products based on inspection results.
May formulate and revise quality control policies and procedures.
Leads and directs the work of other employees and has some reponsibility for personnel actions including hiring, performance management, and termination with concurrence from HR & General Managers.
Basic Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience: Associate Degree and 3 - 5 years experience or equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.
Preferred Education: Bachelor Degree

Product QA. QA Management. Quality Assurance Process. Quality Audit. Quality Control/Testing. Quality Improvement. Quality Inspection. Quality Management. Radiographic Testing. Total Quality Management (TQM). Quality Management System (QMS).
