What You’ll Do

Deliver lesson plans provided by the teacher to keep students on track with their learning goals.
Create a welcoming, safe, and respectful environment where students feel encouraged to learn.
Communicate effectively with students and staff to ensure a seamless classroom experience.
Supervise students during classroom activities, transitions, and breaks.
Provide constructive feedback for the returning teacher about classroom activities and student progress.
Uphold school policies while setting a positive example for students.

What You’ll Need

A bachelor’s degree or higher from a regionally accredited institution.
A 30-Day Substitute Teaching Permit or valid California teaching credential (The permit process is simple and can typically be completed in about a week!).
TB test results dated within the past 4 years (if available).
