Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Stocking Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining inventory levels, ensuring product availability, and providing excellent customer service. This position involves organizing stock, managing inventory, and assisting with the overall efficiency of the retail environment.
Responsibilities

Receive and unload shipments, ensuring all products are accounted for and in good condition.
Organize and stock shelves with merchandise, ensuring products are displayed attractively and accessible to customers.
Monitor inventory levels and assist in inventory management processes to maintain optimal stock levels.
Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate stocking activities and address any issues that arise.
Assist customers with inquiries regarding product availability and location within the store.
Operate equipment such as pallet jacks safely to move heavy items as needed.
Participate in shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accurate documentation of all incoming and outgoing products.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.

Skills

Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers.
Experience in retail sales or sales environments is a plus.
Knowledge of inventory management practices to ensure accurate stock levels.
Ability to load and unload products efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
Familiarity with produce handling is beneficial for stocking fresh items.
Excellent organizational skills to keep stock areas tidy and well-arranged.
Proficiency in operating pallet jacks or similar equipment safely.
Experience in shipping and receiving processes is advantageous.
Multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customer bases.
