POSITION SUMMARY The Cashier/Stocker will provide excellent customer service, manage cash transactions accurately, and help maintain the organization and cleanliness of our store by stocking shelves and ensuring that product displays are appealing and fully stocked.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous experience in retail, grocery, or meat markets is an advantage.
Basic math and cash-handling skills.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
English is the primary language of the company.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business documents, technical procedures or governmental regulations.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Key Responsibilities: Cashier Duties:
Greet and assist customers in a friendly and courteous manner.
Accurately handle cash, credit, and debit transactions using the POS system.
Bag, wrap, and handle meat and grocery items carefully, ensuring product safety.
Address customer inquiries, including providing information on our meat selection and products.
Process returns and exchanges according to company policy.
Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and stocked with bags and other supplies.
Stocker Duties:
Stock shelves, coolers, and displays with fresh products as needed.
Rotate products to ensure freshness and quality.
Maintain a clean and organized stock room.
Monitor inventory levels and notify management of low or overstocked items.
Assist with unloading deliveries, and ensure items are stored safely and securely.
Follow health and safety protocols when handling and stocking perishable items.
