Grocery Stocker (PT Center Store Associate)

Overview
As a Stocking Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring our retail environment is well-organized and stocked with products. This position requires attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and efficient workspace. You will be responsible for receiving shipments, organizing inventory, and ensuring that shelves are fully stocked for our customers.
Responsibilities

Maintain a clean and orderly stockroom and sales floor to enhance the shopping experience.
Assist with shipping and receiving of products, ensuring accurate inventory counts.
Utilize retail math skills to manage stock levels effectively and assist in inventory management.
Operate cash registers as needed, providing excellent customer service during transactions.
Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate stocking efforts and resolve any issues.
Stock shelves with merchandise, ensuring proper placement and presentation of products.
Monitor product expiration dates, particularly in the produce section, to ensure freshness for customers.
Collaborate with warehouse staff to facilitate smooth operations between stockroom and sales floor.
Multilingual candidates are encouraged to apply as communication with diverse customer bases is valuable.

Skills

Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain cleanliness in high-traffic areas.
Experience in shipping and receiving processes is preferred but not mandatory.
Proficient in retail math for effective inventory management.
Familiarity with cash register operations is an asset.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with team members and customers effectively.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
Experience in warehouse settings is beneficial but not required.
A multilingual background can enhance customer interactions and service quality.
