Sterilization Technician
Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Sterilization Technician to join our Oral Surgery Practice. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of infection control procedures and be familiar with medical and/or dental terminology.
Responsibilities
- Sterilize dental instruments and equipment to ensure patient safety
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sterilization area
- Assist in stocking supplies and maintaining inventory levels
- Follow proper protocols for handling contaminated items
- Adhere to infection control policies and procedures
- Collaborate with dental team members to support efficient patient care
Experience
- Familiarity with Win OMS software is helpful
- Knowledge of dentistry is a plus
- Understanding of medical imaging and anatomy terminology is a plus
- Previous work as a dental receptionist or in dental assisting is advantageous
- Proficiency in HIPAA regulations and infection control practices
We are open Monday - Friday 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
Work Location: In person
