Posting Open: 9/21/2024 Posting Close: 9/27/2024 at 11:59 pm EST Salary: $98,220 DUTIES The incumbent of this position will be required to do general maintenance work involving general repairs to high-and low-pressure steam, water, oil, and air piping; reseating and repairing valves; replacing gaskets; etc.
QUALIFICATIONS Should have at least four years’ experience in steam and hydro plant maintenance or its equivalent and a thorough knowledge of this branch of work, being familiar with the expansion and contraction of piping, pipe stresses, temperatures, and pressure.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED Under the direct supervision of the Steamfitter Foreman and the general supervision of the Power Plant Maintenance Supervisor (Mechanical), and the Power Plant Superintendent.
