Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Softball Coaches to lead our JV team in developing skills, fostering teamwork, and promoting a love for the game. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sports coaching and physical education, with the ability to educate and inspire young athletes. This role requires effective behavior management skills and the capability to create a positive and motivating environment for all players.
Duties
Develop and implement training programs that enhance players' skills in softball.
Conduct regular practices focusing on individual skill development, teamwork, and game strategies.
Educate players on the rules of the game, sportsmanship, and healthy competition.
Monitor player performance and provide constructive feedback to improve their abilities.
Organize and oversee team activities, including games, tournaments, and community events.
Foster a safe environment by ensuring all safety protocols are followed during practices and games.
Collaborate with varsity coach coaches to promote the program's success.
Skills
Background in Sports Coaching with experience in softball preferred.
Knowledge of Physical Education principles to educate athletes effectively.
Ability to manage behavior within a team setting to maintain focus and discipline.
Strong communication skills to effectively engage with players, parents, and staff.
