Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Softball Coaches to lead our JV team in developing skills, fostering teamwork, and promoting a love for the game. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sports coaching and physical education, with the ability to educate and inspire young athletes. This role requires effective behavior management skills and the capability to create a positive and motivating environment for all players.
Duties
Job Type: Seasonal
Pay: $32.83 - $42.75 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 12 per week

Duties
- Develop and implement training programs that enhance players' skills in softball.
- Conduct regular practices focusing on individual skill development, teamwork, and game strategies.
- Educate players on the rules of the game, sportsmanship, and healthy competition.
- Monitor player performance and provide constructive feedback to improve their abilities.
- Organize and oversee team activities, including games, tournaments, and community events.
- Foster a safe environment by ensuring all safety protocols are followed during practices and games.
- Collaborate with varsity coach coaches to promote the program's success.
- Background in Sports Coaching with experience in softball preferred.
- Knowledge of Physical Education principles to educate athletes effectively.
- Ability to manage behavior within a team setting to maintain focus and discipline.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with players, parents, and staff.
