Varsity Softball - Head Coach
The coach must demonstrate strong leadership in player and staff development, sportsmanship, integrity and character development.
Qualified candidates should possess strong communication and organizational skills. They must demonstrate exceptional knowledge of the skills and strategies of the sport of softball as it pertains to interscholastic athletics. The coach will report directly to the Athletic Director.
QUALIFICATIONS:
● Demonstrate ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with others as part of the athletic department.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
● Prepares players both physically and mentally for competition, practice, teaching of
fundamental skills, and knowledge of rules.
● Organization and development of the Softball program.
● Conduct practices and attend games during weekday evenings
● Communicate effectively with players, faculty, administration, parents and other
coaches.
● Monitor the safety and well-being of all participants while at practice and at games, in locker rooms, and during transportation.
● Issue, collect, inventory, and store equipment consistent with guidelines provided by the athletic director.
● Submit required paperwork to the athletic office in a time frame specified by the athletic director.
● Follows and upholds policies and the mission and vision statement of the School.
QUALIFICATIONS:
● Minimum of 3 years of experience coaching
● First Aid and CPR training - or have the ability to be trained
● Ability to drive a 9-12 passenger van
● Ability to carry 50 lbs
● Will be required to stand for extended periods of time
As a part-time, non-contract position with Renaissance Academy Charter School, this employment does not include any benefits package.

SALARY:
● Stipend Payment based on experience
