Our St. Paul's School of Nursing in Staten Island is currently seeking Sociology Instructor candidates to Teach, Inspire and Motivate students while facilitating student learning/outcomes. Basic Responsibilities:
Utilizing the provided course materials, present material in a manner that is conducive to learning and engages/encourages student involvement
Keep accurate records including student grades and attendance
Effectively manage classroom/laboratory organization and functionality, reporting any and all issues as appropriate
Collaboration with Dean of Education and Academics team to prepare for classes and student success
Basic Qualifications:
Hold a master degree with 18 semester credits in sociology
Excellent verbal/written communications skills
Conflict resolution skills
Time management & critical thinking
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to effectively prioritize
Knowledge of common office software and equipment (eg. MS Office Suite)
