School COTA Contract Position - Full Time
Minimum 1+ years occupational therapy experience required.
Blazer Jobs is seeking experienced Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) for full-time roles within school districts in the Moriarty, NM area. We are looking for passionate professionals dedicated to supporting students' growth and success through occupational therapy services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide therapy services to students.
- Implement individualized therapy plans to address students physical, sensory, and cognitive needs.
- Assist in developing strategies to enhance students academic and daily living skills.
- Document and track student progress and provide feedback to the therapy team.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure students receive comprehensive support.
- Associates degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
- Current certification as a COTA.
- Experience working with children in a school or pediatric setting is preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
