Job Overview
We are looking for a motivated and passionate Salon Assistant to join our team. Duties
Job Types: Full-time, Apprenticeship
Pay: $11.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week

Duties
- Assist stylists with hair services, including shampooing, conditioning, and preparing clients for treatments.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the salon, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized and ready for use.
- Provide support at the front desk, including greeting clients, scheduling appointments, and managing client inquiries.
- Learn and assist with various techniques such as color mixing/application, hair foiling, hair extensions, hair styling, and social media/content capture/creation under the instructions of experienced professionals.
- Gain knowledge in color theory and various skill techniques to enhance service offerings.
- Participate in mentoring opportunities with senior staff to develop skillsets in cosmetology.
- Assist with inventory management by restocking and ordering supplies as needed.
- A valid cosmetology or barbering license is required.
- Some basic skillset required: shampoo and blowdry efficiently.
- Familiarity with hairstyling and hair extensions is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to provide excellent customer service.
- A willingness to learn new techniques and stay updated on industry trends.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
- Previous experience in a salon setting or related field is advantageous but not mandatory.
