Retail Sales Associate

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and sales, with the ability to engage customers and provide them with an exceptional shopping experience. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for promoting our products, assisting customers, and ensuring the store operates smoothly.
Duties

Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store.
Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits.
Process sales transactions accurately using the cash register and POS system.
Handle cash and credit transactions efficiently while maintaining accurate cash handling procedures.
Upsell products by suggesting complementary items to enhance customer purchases.
Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor, including restocking shelves as needed.
Supervise junior staff members when necessary, providing guidance and support.
Utilize retail math skills to assist with inventory management and stock levels.
Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding inventory needs and customer feedback.

Skills

Proven sales skills with a strong ability to upsell products.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage with customers effectively.
Experience with product demos to showcase product features confidently.
Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customers.
Proficiency in operating cash registers and POS systems for efficient transaction processing.
Strong cash handling skills to ensure accuracy in financial transactions.
Knowledge of retail math concepts for effective inventory management.
Ability to supervise team members when required, fostering a collaborative work environment.
