Merchandising Associate

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Merchandising Associate to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring that our store displays are visually appealing and effectively promote our products. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a keen eye for visual design, and a solid understanding of retail math. Duties

Maintain clean and organized merchandise displays to enhance the shopping experience.
Implement visual merchandising strategies to attract customers and drive sales.
Assist in inventory control by monitoring stock levels and conducting regular audits.
Collaborate with store management to execute promotional campaigns and seasonal remodels.
Supervise merchandising team members during store resets or new product launches.
Provide training and support to staff on effective selling techniques and product knowledge.
Utilize retail math skills to analyze sales trends and make informed decisions about product placement.

Requirements

Previous experience in retail or merchandising is preferred.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Knowledge of visual design principles and experience in creating attractive displays.
Familiarity with inventory control processes and techniques.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also taking initiative when needed.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
A background in store management or supervising is a plus.
A passion for sales and customer service, with the ability to engage customers effectively.
