Duration: 13 weeks contract
Shift: 12hr NIGHTS; Will float to other Units between Acute Rehab/Acute Med Surg

Blended Hourly W2 Pay Rate: $65.00
Blended Weekly Gross Pay Rate: $2,340.00
Minimum Hourly W2 Pay Rate: $30.40
Min. W2 Weekly Gross (Taxable): $1,094.40
Weekly Stipend (Non-Taxable): $1,246.60

For Traveler 1099 Candidates:
Pay Rate on 1099 to the Candidate: $70.00
Weekly 1099 Traveler Pay Rate: $2,520.00
Position Overview:
This is a Rehabilitation Nurse (RN) position in a small, community-based facility located in Windsor, VT. The RN will coordinate total nursing care for patients and participate in both patient and family education. The role includes leadership responsibilities, ensuring professional nursing standards are upheld through collaboration with the healthcare team. The RN will work as a backup Charge Nurse and may be required to float between Acute Rehab and Med-Surg units.
Key Responsibilities:

• Charge Nurse Backup: May be asked to serve as Charge Nurse, managing overall nursing operations on the unit.
• Patient Care Coordination: Responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to assigned patients.
• Education: Involvement in patient and family teaching, including care plans and discharge instructions.
• Leadership: Collaborate with ancillary nursing staff and interdisciplinary team members to maintain high professional standards and excellent patient care.
• Teamwork: Actively participate in team communication and foster positive relationships with both nursing staff and other clinical teams.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent Med-Surg & Rehab nursing experience required.
• Charge Nurse Experience: Prior Charge Nurse experience is required.
• Previous Travel Nursing: At least 3 months of travel nursing experience.
• Floating: Must be comfortable floating between Acute Rehab and Med-Surg.
• BSN: Preferred but not required.
• EMR: Experience with Cerner is preferred.
• Patient Ratio: 1 RN to 4-5 patients.
• Census: Average daily patient census is around 22.
• RTO (Requested Time Off): No more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted, and RTO requests must be submitted at the time of uploading your application. RTO requests after upload will not be approved.
• Holiday Coverage: Must be willing to work either Christmas Eve/Christmas Day and the weekend after OR New Year Eve/New Year Day and the weekend after.

Additional Requirements:

• Transportation: Candidate must have their own vehicle as the community lacks public transportation.
