PTR Baler and Compactor, a world leader in the waste equipment industry, is seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager to join our team. As a Regional Sales Manager, you will play a key role in helping companies achieve their green initiatives by reducing waste streams and increasing recycling efforts. This ideal candidate will be based in Texas or Colorado.
Your key responsibilities will include:
● Hunting for new opportunities to sell waste and recycling equipment into national accounts, dealers, and distributors within your region.
● Strategizing and developing account plans to expand Komar’s scope, assure customer retention, and drive new business development.
● Collaborating closely with Komar's internal teams to communicate and see customer requirements to successful completion.
The ideal candidate for this position will have:
● Corporate Account Management experience and a proven track record of selling into large accounts at the corporate headquarters level.
● 5-10 years of experience (industry experience a plus) and a college degree (technical or business degree preferred).
● Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to listen, ask, present, persuade, and solve, as well as the ability to adapt communication to different personality styles.
● Technical aptitude (understand machine specifications such as pressure, force, volume) and experience with Microsoft products and CRM software.
● Creativity and the ability to create engaging presentations (Power Point).
● A willingness to travel 30%-50% within the local region (multistate).
