--- Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Daycare Director to oversee the operations of three child care centers. This leadership role involves managing day-to-day operations, ensuring the highest standards of safety, education, and care for children, while fostering a positive work environment for staff and engaging with parents. The Director will be responsible for setting the strategic direction of all three facilities and ensuring they meet regulatory requirements, financial goals, and educational objectives. --- Key Responsibilities: **Operational Oversight:** - Oversee all aspects of the daily operations for three daycare locations, including staffing, scheduling, program development, and facility maintenance. - Ensure compliance with state regulations, licensing requirements, and health and safety standards across all locations. - Develop and implement policies and procedures for each center to ensure smooth, efficient operations. - Collaborate with staff and management to enhance the quality of care, educational programming, and customer service. Staff Management: - Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate staff across all three centers, fostering a professional, supportive work environment. - Supervise, motivate, and support center managers and educators, ensuring they have the resources and tools needed to succeed. - Conduct regular performance reviews, identify development needs, and provide coaching to improve performance. - Promote staff retention through team-building activities, professional development opportunities, and an inclusive work culture. Curriculum and Program Development: - Oversee the development and implementation of age-appropriate curricula that align with early childhood development standards. - Ensure that all programs support social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth for children of varying ages and abilities. - Monitor the effectiveness of educational programs and make recommendations for improvement. Budget and Financial Management: - Manage the financial operations of all three locations, including budgeting, expense tracking, and revenue generation. - Ensure that all centers are operating within budget while maintaining high-quality services and programs. - Implement cost-control measures without compromising on the quality of care or safety standards. Parent Relations: - Develop and maintain positive relationships with parents through regular communication, meetings, and feedback sessions. - Address parent concerns and provide resolutions in a timely, professional, and empathetic manner. - Organize events or workshops that engage parents and build a sense of community within each daycare. Compliance and Reporting: - Ensure all locations maintain proper documentation and records for licensing, health, safety, and staffing purposes. - Stay up-to-date with local, state, and federal regulations and ensure that each center adheres to them. - Prepare and submit required reports, including financial reports, staffing audits, and any necessary documentation for regulatory agencies. Quality Improvement: - Regularly evaluate the performance of each center through observations, assessments, and feedback from staff, parents, and children. - Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery, education quality, and overall operational efficiency. - Foster a culture of innovation and excellence by encouraging staff to bring forward new ideas and best practices. --- Qualifications: - Education: - Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field (required).
