Ensures patrons have a pleasant experience while visiting City facilities. Greet the public, answer phone and inquiries concerning activities. Sort and file documents. Operates office equipment such as copy machine and computers. Issue recreation equipment to center participants, receives required deposit and/or participant's I.D. card, returns deposit or card to participant when equipment is returned in acceptable condition. Collects fees, writes receipts, balances money and makes reports. Performs janitorial tasks as required and responsible for room set-up, take-down and cleaning. Coordinates room rental, programs, member activities, etc. Opens and closes building as needed. Must be available for nights/weekends if necessary. Perform other duties as assigned and/or required.
Qualifications
High school or GED, plus specialized schooling and/or on the job education in a specific skill area, e.g., Ability to maintain accurate records, type and enter data accurately. Ability to effectively communicate on a one-on-one basis with others. Ability to maintain effective and harmonious working relationships with other employees, department officials and the public. Ability to report to work each scheduled day, and on time.

Miscellaneous Information
This position is part time and is not eligible for the City of Sherwood benefits package.
