As a Quality Manager, you will be an integral part of the STEP Administrative Team, assuring the quality of our work. Supports To Empower People (STEP) provides comprehensive, community and residential services to adult men who have intellectual/developmental disabilities (ID/DD) as well as significant behavioral and mental health concerns. The principles of Dialectical Behavioral Treatment (DBT) are adapted for the individual and integrated into all aspects of supports. STEP provides empowering assistance in a therapeutically receptive environment, which allows the individual to embark upon the clinical challenges and to safely explore and pursue their dreams. The ideal candidate will be adaptable and compassionate in all situations. What You’ll Do:
Participate in the senior team responsible for all JRI STEP operations.
Provide leadership, training, and support to all staff on implementing quality systems.
Monitor the quality of personnel, facilities, program records.
Oversee incident reporting, response, and tracking systems.
Coordinate human right systems including individuals served/guardian training and the Human Rights Committee.
Oversee policy and procedure review; licensing and accreditation activities.
Serve as Work Safety Officer and coordinate implementation of workplace safety practices including staff training.
Manage the STEP Performance Improvement and Risk Management Committee.
Share 24-hour on-call administrative coverage, personnel engagement and development, and direct supervision and oversight of services with other Ad Team members.
Participate in professional organizations and associations.
Consistently implement all policies and procedures, rules and regulations with respect for cultural differences.
Provide leadership and direction to staff consistent with the agency and program philosophy and mission, including DEI goals and values.
Promote a positive and inclusive work environment where staff members of all backgrounds feel they belong, are included and valued.
Obtain Medication Administration, First Aid, and CPR certification; Learn non-violent crisis intervention and prevention techniques.

Requirements:
Must be 21 years or older.
Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or related field preferred.
Minimum of two years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
Minimum of two years of experience in human service management; and two years working with multiple entities to optimize operating programs and ensure regulatory compliance.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex service systems with multiple sites and a diverse staff.
Ability to understand and respect cultural needs of individuals served and staff.
Ability to communicate and coordinate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
Ability to organize and prioritize work. and to lead people and projects.
Ability to develop and maintain productive, positive relationships.
Driver’s license and ability to drive for work. Ability to work independently without a supervisor or other colleagues present
Must have a positive and supportive approach, critical thinking skills and ability to think “outside the box”.
Must have the willingness and desire to provide services above and beyond “the norm”.
Must be adaptable and compassionate to what the individuals supported need in any given moment.
