Job Description: Shift- 3:30pm-12am We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Aerospace Quality Inspector to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting and verifying the quality and compliance of aerospace components and assemblies. You will work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and quality control teams to ensure that all products meet the stringent safety, performance, and regulatory standards required in the aerospace industry. Key Responsibilities:
Perform detailed inspections on aerospace components, systems, and assemblies, ensuring conformance to engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
Use a variety of precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.)
Review inspection documentation, including blueprints, CAD models, and technical drawings to ensure compliance with specifications.
Document inspection results and discrepancies, preparing detailed reports and non-conformance reports (NCRs).
Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
Assist in the development and refinement of inspection procedures and quality control processes.
Maintain a safe and organized work environment, following all safety regulations and guidelines.
Keep up-to-date with industry standards, codes, and regulations (e.g., AS9100, FAA, NADCAP).
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in aerospace inspection or a related quality assurance role.
Strong knowledge of aerospace materials, components, and manufacturing processes.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
Hands-on experience with precision measuring instruments and inspection tools.
Familiarity with industry standards, such as AS9100, FAA regulations, and other aerospace certifications.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
CMM knowledge is a plus.
