QA Repair Electronics Technician Sunstone Engineering located in Payson, Utah, a world leader in the design and production of micro welding technology is seeking a full time Quality Assurance Repair Electronics Technician. Responsible for performing both quality assurance and control tasks, as well as electronic repair under the direction of the director of engineering. Ensuring high quality in all aspects of production, including evaluating parts from suppliers, production processes, and final testing prior to shipping. Working with our engineering team to continue to enhance product quality and longevity. Duties and Responsibilities:
Approve incoming materials by confirming specifications, conducting a visual and measurement test, and rejecting and returning unacceptable materials
Approve in-process production by confirming required specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and communicating the required adjustments to the production manager
Approve all finished products by confirming specifications and conducting required tests
Train production line staff in proper procedures and quality assessment of goods
Return products for re-work if needed and complete documentation to confirm re-work
Document and update inspection results by completing reports and logs
Maintain measurement equipment by following operating instructions and calling for repairs.
Maintain safe work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations
Acquire knowledge of the product to perform accurate quality control
Help eliminate products that are not up to standards and find product issues
Test production/refurbished assemblies/systems for correct operation and compliance to performance specifications
Troubleshoot electronic and mechanical failures to the component level and recommend repair actions required to resolve failures
Requirements and Qualifications:
Associates degree as Electrical Technician or equivalent
2+ years in a manufacturing electrical technician position
Excellent computer skills, including MS Office
Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain and teach
Understanding of manufacturing methods and procedures

Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 / year
