Role: Property Coordinator - Property Management Department Reports to: Regional Portfolio Manager Job Type: Full-time Compensation: Based on experience Location: Keokuk, Iowa - Traveling to Des Moines during training period and periodically after training Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, Paid Time Off, Company Events SUMMARY As a Property Coordinator, you'll be the guardian of our South East Iowa properties, ensuring they're in top-notch shape and thriving. You'll handle everything from coordinating move-ins and move-outs to managing renewals, all while maintaining the highest standards of property upkeep. We're seeking someone who takes genuine pride in their work and is fully dedicated to the success of our portfolio. RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise the upkeep of shared spaces and property exteriors, including landscaping and curb appeal.
Facilitate smooth move-in processes for residents.
Provide tours for prospective residents.
Guide residents through move-out procedures and prepare units for re-rental.
Administer renewal options for existing residents.
Oversee the collection of rent payments and handle delinquent accounts as necessary.
Participate in the strategic planning and goal-setting for the property portfolio.
Collaborate with the maintenance team to prioritize and schedule repairs and maintenance tasks.
Implement energy-saving initiatives and sustainability practices to reduce operating costs and environmental impact.
Foster a positive and supportive work culture among property management staff.
Represent the property management company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions.
REQUIREMENTS
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Exceptional interpersonal and written communication abilities.
Strong problem-solving skills and sound decision-making abilities.
Effective time management and multitasking skills.
Previous property management experience.
Must have a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle.
