The Lincoln County Assessor's Office is looking to add a Property Appraiser 1 to their team. They're looking for someone dynamic and engaging with an interest in the work and a desire to serve the community.
The person in this position will perform appraisals of urban and rural residential properties for property tax purposes. While also providing public service relating to property assessment information and representing the Assessor’s Office in Board of Property Tax Appeals hearings.

Joe Davidson, Lincoln County Assessor
Minimum Education Level
Associate of Science Degree in property appraisal or real estate technology.
Substitution Note: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with major course work in Business Administration, Accounting, Real Estate, Engineering or related field or three years work experience in real estate or business administration affording a knowledge of real property valuation, or successful completion of an approved two-year training program as a County Property Appraiser Trainee.
Certifications
Certification as a Registered Appraiser by the Oregon Department of Revenue is required within 30 days of hire and must be maintained by continuing education. ORS 308.010; Signing a Certificate of Confidentiality is required under ORS 308.413(3)
Driver’s License
Oregon Driver's License required within 30 days of hire.
Desirable Qualifications: 1 – 2 years’ experience in an Oregon County Assessor’s Office.
