Join our dynamic Banking Payments team, specifically within New Payment Rails (NPR), where we focus on safeguarding customers using Pay by Bank. Our mission is to deliver exceptional customer experiences while modernizing payments across platforms like TCH, Fed Now, EWS, and ACH. We aim to simplify business processes, enhance user experiences, and consistently achieve product excellence, prioritizing controls, simplicity, and consistency.
As a Product Delivery Business Manager, you play a crucial role in ensuring efficient and effective product delivery by supporting both operational and strategic functions within the product execution vertical. You will maintain a strong agility controls environment, manage the product execution wing, and develop robust processes for ongoing and new initiatives. Key responsibilities include overseeing capacity planning, intake processes, dependency management, roadmap management, and conducting portfolio reviews. Additionally, you will support ad-hoc tasks such as preparing presentations to enhance the execution capabilities of our growing product delivery and technology team.
Job Responsibilities
- Communicate development efforts to senior leadership, including creating executive-level presentations on product priorities, roadmap impact, and development hours.
- Act as a liaison between the central Business Management team and the NPR team, ensuring compliance with organization-wide processes and timely completion of deliverables.
- Ensure JIRA hygiene and agility controls while maintaining process knowledge of the broader agility environment.
- Define and implement product execution standard processes for adoption by our growing organization.
- Conduct regular reviews of the product delivery portfolio to assess progress and alignment with strategic goals, highlighting any impediments.
- Implement and maintain agile methodologies to enhance team performance and product delivery.
- Monitor and report on agile metrics to ensure continuous improvement of scrum teams' backlog health.
- Develop and manage the intake process for new projects, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and resource availability.
- Analyze tech team capacity and resource allocation to optimize workload distribution.
- Collaborate with Product Delivery leads to forecast resource needs and address potential bottlenecks.
- Synthesize product performance in light of competitive dynamics, customer perception, and transaction patterns in partnership with Analytics.
- Provide ad-hoc support to the Executive Director on various leadership requests.
- Encourage team engagement by planning team bonding events.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in business management, project management, and/or delivery consulting.
- Strong understanding of Product Management methodologies, especially in an Agile environment.
- Self-starter with excellent written and verbal communication, reasoning, organizational, and presentation skills.
- Highly collaborative and capable of reporting on large, complex cross-functional projects and portfolios.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Power Point.
- Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence
- Interest in the execution side of Product Management.
- Bachelor's degree required
