Prevention & Care Advocate (PCA) Dental Industry – Ivoclar (1099)
Independent Contractor Opportunity with Ivoclar Prevention & Care Advocates – Independent Contractor Role (1099): We're looking for Dental Hygienists that may be interested in a part-time opportunity to generate supplemental income. We are seeking energetic, customer-focused, product Advocates who will demonstrate and promote our hygiene-based portfolio and solutions of Ivoclar that we believe will deliver a higher standard of care. This position is a part-time advocate position as an independent contractor that would include virtual and/or in-person meetings with dental offices to showcase our solutions. In this position, you will share the great advantages and benefits of using Ivoclar’s hygiene solutions. The target audience within an office will be Registered Dental Hygienists (RDH) and the Dentist. The RDHs must believe in the solutions to become supporters of the brand solutions for patients. The Dentist's endorsement is critical, but the key customers will be RDHs as the portfolio of products/solutions will be applied and/or recommended by this role. Success in this role will be driven by high-energy people that are passionate about making people smile and making a difference in people's lives. The ability to influence others will be key in attaining success in the role. Description:
The primary responsibility of this position will be to motivate RDHs to become passionate about Ivoclar’s Preventative solutions
Demonstrating the benefits of Prevention & Care solutions in practice is key to success
Once an office has decided to support the brand, the advocate can share with the practitioners how to "soft-sell" the product(s) to patients
Advising the staff on the small changes that can be made to create opportunities for growing the office business, while providing a higher standard of care
Attaining a great understanding of Ivoclar’s solution and how it compares with other competitive products in the marketplace
Helping other RDHs to become comfortable with the portfolio and the associated benefits will make the advocating process easier
Core to success will be the ability to provide Lunch and Learns (educational lunch) or Learn and Earns (by offering CE credits to staff upon delivering education) will help foster success in discussions with offices.
Understanding the science and clinical significance of key products/solutions in the Professional Care portfolio
Where logical and possible, participating in national and/or local industry tradeshows to further advocate role to generate interest in the Prevention & Care business.
Participation in dental/hygiene associations, study clubs, and dental hygiene schools will create better opportunities for success
Collaboration with the Ivoclar territory sales rep in your area will help foster stronger success with the office
Ability to deliver presentations and demonstrate products with potential customers
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene preferred
Good presentation skills important
Strong organizational skills with ability to self-manage toward goal achievement
Strong preference for candidates that are active on social media platform(s)
Ability to travel (primarily by car)
Training Requirements:
Product / Solution training will be done primarily via remote training methods with e-learning as the primary medium
Some virtual training and/or information sessions will be done on periodic basis
Some in-person training / learning may be done (eg, with Ivoclar rep)
Compensation:
Flat rate compensation for Lunch and Learns or CE programs delivered is the base ($150-$200)
Commission-eligible for accounts on-boarded
Various incentives also create additional earnings potential
