Provides direct support to survivors of sexual assault by connecting them with resources, counseling services, and legal assistance as needed.
Responsible for overseeing and approving the research, design and implementation of educational presentations, workshops, and training sessions for various audiences, such as schools, community organizations, professionals, and the public.
Provides ongoing training and support to staff and volunteers on issues related to domestic violence and sexual assault. This includes ensuring that all staff members are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively respond to survivors.
Stay updated on current research, best practices, and legal changes in the field to ensure accuracy and relevancy of the resources provided. Adheres to the Ohio Revised Code, Erins Law, and the Ohio Department of Education Guidelines.
Creates a strong relationship with OAESV coalition providers for their guidance and support whenever needed. Utilizes their insights, resources, and assistance with specific challenges and provides feedback to the coalition providers with the results of their interventions.
Leads the program coordination with local schools, administrators, parent groups, colleges, and community centers to introduce and deliver violence prevention programs.
Collaborates with law enforcement agencies, medical, and social service providers to enhance the response to sexual assault cases in the community This may involve facilitating trainings and workshops for these professionals and working to improve coordination and communication between different service providers.
Has a thorough understanding of dynamics of domestic violence and sexual assault and able to effectively communicate this information to diverse audiences in an age-appropriate manner.

Education: Associate degree or higher in Education/Social Service Field or otherrelated field
