YOUR DAY AS A POWDER COAT OPERATOR
As a new Powder Coat Operator at Nelson Global - Statesville, you can expect to receive on-the-job training to operate powder coating equipment effectively. Your daily tasks will involve preparing parts for coating, applying powder coat materials, and ensuring quality control standards are met. The Monday to Thursday schedule from 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM allows for long weekends while overtime on Fridays provides additional earning opportunities.You will work alongside experienced professionals who are dedicated to helping you succeed in this dynamic manufacturing environment.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR IN A POWDER COAT OPERATOR
To excel as a Powder Coat Operator at Nelson Global - Statesville, candidates must possess a minimum of 3 years of experience specifically in powder coating (not paint). Familiarity with powder coating equipment and techniques is essential for this role. The ability to interpret and follow work orders accurately, maintain a clean and organized work area, and adhere to safety protocols are crucial for success in this position. Candidates should demonstrate attention to detail, good hand-eye coordination, and the capacity to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.Advanced knowledge of powder coat materials and processes will be advantageous in fulfilling the responsibilities of this role effectively.
Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
- Must have at least 3 years of Power Coat experience. (Not paint.)
