ABOUT THE POSITION: Hawaii Preparatory Academy is looking for a reliable individual to maintain our pool area for 10 hours per week with a flexible schedule, working 3 or more days a week. Join our team to help keep our pool safe, clean, and enjoyable for our community. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Daily (3 Days a Week or More)
Clean water vacuum filters and place the vacuum in the water; set to a 3-hour cycle.
Remove and replace the trash bag in the office trash can if it is full; replacements are located in the tool drawer.
Take trash to the large black bins as needed.
Weekly (Must Be Done Once a Week)
Brush the deep walls and the shallow bottom of the pool, reaching from the deck.
Hose down the pool deck on both the office side and the Mauka side.
As Needed
Use the trash pump to vacuum the pool's deep end.
Remove and reposition pool covers as needed to brush certain areas.
Repair tie-downs on covers or grates as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to work outdoors and perform manual tasks.
Basic understanding of pool maintenance (preferred but not required; training can be provided).
Attention to detail to ensure a safe and clean environment.
