Job Summary
Teaching assistants' primary responsibilities include but not are not limited to the following: Teaching labs for PHY 102-112 (depending upon assignment), assisting students during lab hours, and grading lab assignments in a timely manner.

Pay Rate
$15.00/hour
Required Qualifications
In order to be considered for this position, applicants must have at least one semester of graded coursework at ISU with a major GPA of 2.75 or above.
Preferred Qualifications
Preference will be given to applicants who:
1. Are a Physics major at Illinois State University and are enrolled in the appropriate major courses.
2. Are registered for PHY 112 (Physics for Scientists and Engineers III) or beyond by Fall 2024.

Work Hours
Varies, scheduled lab times range from 8:00am - 9:00pm, Monday - Friday
Functional Expectations
Must be able to complete the following with or without reasonable accommodations:

Illinois State University student employees are restricted to no more than 28 hours per week of on-campus employment for all positions held.
