Job Summary: A Physical Therapist (PT) is responsible for evaluating and treating patients who are experiencing pain, mobility issues, or physical limitations due to injury or illness. The PT works with patients to develop personalized treatment plans aimed at improving mobility, reducing pain, and regaining independence.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Conducting initial assessments to determine the root cause of patient's physical limitations
Developing personalized treatment plans based on individual needs and goals
Utilizing various techniques such as manual therapy, exercise prescription, and modalities to help patients regain function
Monitoring progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed
Educating patients on proper body mechanics, exercises, and lifestyle modifications to prevent future injuries
Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for patients
Qualifications and Skills:
Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy
Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Experience with various treatment modalities and techniques
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
