Job Description

Job Title: Occupational Therapist

Job Summary: The Occupational Therapist will work with individuals who are experiencing physical, mental, emotional, or developmental challenges to help them improve their ability to perform daily activities. They will assess clients' needs, develop treatment plans, and provide therapeutic interventions to improve their quality of life and independence.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Conduct evaluations to assess clients' physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities
• Develop customized treatment plans to address clients' specific goals and needs
• Provide therapeutic interventions, such as exercises, activities, and adaptive equipment, to help clients improve their functional abilities
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physical therapists, speech therapists, and doctors, to provide comprehensive care to clients
• Monitor clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Educate clients and their families on how to manage their conditions and maximize their independence
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of clients' assessments, treatment plans, and progress

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Occupational Therapy
• Licensed to practice as an Occupational Therapist in the state of employment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively with individuals of all ages and backgrounds
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Prior experience working in a healthcare setting is preferred
