JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY Come help us drive our business forward and be a part of team that is at the front line of achieving our purpose. The Outside Territory Sales – End User representative is the first point of contact for established customers seeking new systems, expansion, or parts/service for their existing systems. This sales role is pivotal for providing exceptional customer service by following established procedures and accurately quoting prices, terms of sales, delivery dates, etc. The ideal candidate has a desire to grow within the company in either the Sales Department or Service Group. This role is remote/on the road, with the candidate expected to reside within 30 minutes of Eagle River, Alaska. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Create opportunities
Foster customer relationships and trust
Spend time in the field making sales calls to industrial end user plants, the corresponding main offices, and consulting firms (NOTE: sales & technical support to outside sales force will be provided by insides sales team for parts, repair service and new applications)
Use the Company Customer Relationship Management (CRM) System to full advantage for knowledge and customer information
Record all opportunities, sales calls, and sales activities in CRM. Record service items in CRM.
Promote & encourage sales growth and “profit management” to ensure a profitable future for customers and the company
Understand & implement policy to achieve both customer & company goals
Work closely with Sales, Service Department and Vendors to facilitate the sales effort and meet customer requirements
Aid in the design and development of equipment, systems, and redesign of existing systems
Facilitate prompt remedy of customer technical problems, complaints, and failures
Maintain Invitation Lists for Training Sessions. Maintain Target Lists for Accounts/Products

EXPERIENCE (QUALIFICATIONS)
3-5 years of outside sales industrial experience, with Technical or Engineering degree preferred
Knowledge of industrial equipment, other fluid (compressible and non-compressible) handling equipment, service and repair of industrial equipment
Able to work independently to achieve targeted results
Well organized & self-motivated
Excellent interpersonal and effective communication skills
Effective negotiating skills
Project management experience and teamwork skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office

Requires valid license and a clean driving record is required without exception

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS The physical demands of the job are limited to that of an office environment, with occasional trips to regional offices and working with users in a shop or warehouse environment. WORKING CONDITIONS This position will be primarily working indoors in both warehouse and office environments, but will occasionally require working outdoors or visiting customer or vendor sites.

Noise level will vary from moderate conditions to noisy where ear plugs should be worn
Safety glasses and shoes are required in all areas on the shop floor and many customer sites
