POSITION SUMMARY

The OA is responsible for providing professional care within his/her scope of practice for patients assessing, education, scheduling exam, and maintaining accurate patient records. No experience required. On the job training provided.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

Licenses and Certifications Required

Must begin home study course in first year to work towards JCAHPO COA level certification
-
JCAHPO COA level certification preferred during 2nd year
-
Obtain CPR Certification within 90 days of hire (training provided by Trinity for certification)

Experience Requirements

No experience required. On the job training provided

Previous experience using computerized system for data reporting, information storage and retrieval required

Excellent communication skills required

Detail oriented

Special Skills or Training Requirements

The ability to maintain active patient/doctor communication during working shifts, up to eight hours per day

The ability to access, input, and retrieve information from the computer system
