Mid-Cumberland Community Action Agency seeks a dedicated and driven Operations Manager to support and oversee the outreach offices within our Community Service Division. This role is essential in ensuring the efficiency, compliance, and success of our community outreach efforts, helping us deliver critical services and resources to those in need. The Operations Manager will work primarily in the field, visiting outreach offices, coordinating with staff, and optimizing processes to fulfill our mission. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 1. Field Operations: Spend multiple times per month visiting outreach offices to ensure smooth, consistent operations, troubleshoot issues, and enhance service delivery. 2. Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to maximize efficiency and impact 3. Staff Support & Training: Provide guidance and support to staff, ensuring they have the resources and knowledge to serve the community effectively. 4. Data & Compliance Management: Maintain accurate records ensuring all data collection meets organizational standards and compliance regulations; complete a 10% file review 5. Reporting & Analysis: Compile and report on outreach metrics and activities to support program evaluation and improvement. Qualifications: 1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, or a related field is preferred but not required. 2. Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in operations management, preferably in a nonprofit or community service setting. 3. Skills: o Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with diverse communities and staff. o Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite 4. Personal Attributes: A proactive, solution-oriented approach, flexibility to adapt to different environments, and a commitment to serving the community.
