Mobile Clinic Driver

Summary

Job Summary


Responsible for safe transportation and set-up of the Mobile Clinic, including organizing delivery and infrastructure, following all state and federal DOT regulations.


Job Responsibilities
  • Ensures the safety of the driver, passenger(s), truck, trailer, and any other assets and/or equipment.
  • Transports truck and trailer to locations within the 18-county reach.
  • Checks vehicle(s) to ensure mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working condition.
  • Inspects load(s) to ensure cargo is secure for transport utilizing items such as straps, ropes, blocks, chains, binders, covers, and other miscellaneous tie-down equipment as needed.
  • Researches event location(s), plan for parking and area of event activation, and ensure safe ingress and egress for site location.
  • Assists in the safe and efficient set-up of the mobile unit and tear-down of all elements (including electrical and audio) associated with the interior and exterior of trailers.
  • Directly communicates with supervisor on program status (to include, but not be limited to, program updates, problems, success stories, and feedback etc.)
  • Ensures quality scheduling, execution, compliance, and reporting of all the events involved in this program.
  • Coordinates necessary equipment procurement, maintenance, and inventory.
  • All other duties assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma, General Equivalency Diploma (GED) or higher required upon hire AND
  • Associate's degree or higher in related field preferred
  • A combination of education, training and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • A minimum of 3 years' relevant experience required
  • Driver - Valid driver's license and 21 years of age required upon hire

  • Utilizes in-depth knowledge of the specialization as well as business needs to recommend appropriate action.
