Medical Office Assistant
POSITION SUMMARY
The Medical Office Assistant is responsible for facilitating member care, in collaboration with the medical team, pharmacies and health plans. The Medical Office Assistant works collaboratively with the clinical team in implementing services and coordination of care. The Medical Office Assistant provides direct services and assistance with client needs, activities, or services in the daily operation of the site or program.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES

The Medical Office Assistant provides direct services and assistance with client needs, activities, or services in the daily operation of the site or program.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. Some experience from which knowledge and skills can be utilized to perform general clerical work.
- Able to obtain fingerprint clearance card.
- Have excellent phone etiquette, and be customer service driven, and able to multi-task.
- Must have good written and verbal communications skills.
- Have basic typing/computer skills.
- Able to work with minimum supervision, knowledge of MS Office (Work, Excel, Outlook, Access).
- Maintain, store and ensure proper documentation of consumer files.
- Must successfully complete the agency's orientation and demonstrate competence regarding skills and knowledge.
- Preferred, but not required, bilingual in English and Spanish.

Schedule: Regular - Full Time (FT), Days, M-F 8-5
