Job Description
The Marketing Applications Analyst is imbedded in the Marketing team and is responsible for email/SMS campaigns, website work and database management, app development and other technical implementations. The Analyst is also responsible for working within the Epic Cheers campaign platform, as well as website content management systems and app development accounts.
This is a crucial role in supporting and maintaining the Epic system to meet the unique needs of the Valley Health Marketing Department. Responsibilities include customizing and building campaigns, consulting with internal stakeholders and the manager of digital marketing to develop email and SMS campaign timelines, collaborating with IT on Epic updates and campaign launches. Responsible for communicating project and team status to internal audiences when necessary and will conduct or participate in system technical and application reviews to determine feasibility, cost and evaluate usefulness. Takes the initiative to research, resolve and respond to inquiries during the deployment and ongoing maintenance/support phases of the Cheers program. Develops relationships, trust, and credibility to manage multiple demands and will collaborate with team members to find appropriate solutions for campaign and reporting needs. May be asked to assist with facilitation of content and design for campaigns.
Periodic travel to Epic Systems in Verona, Wisconsin may be necessary.
Education
Bachelor's or College Degree in Education, Computer Science, Healthcare, Information Technology, Business/Administration, Information Systems, or Health Information Technology preferred
Experience
Minimum of three (3) years' experience in an IT or healthcare role required
Epic end user experience preferred
At least one Epic certification also preferred
Certification & Licensures
Epic certification in primary module(s) or as specified by the applications required within one year of hire
Current Epic certification must be maintained for all essential certifications per Epic Corporation standards.
Qualifications
Ability to lead meetings, prioritize, resolve conflicts, maintain issues lists and follow a project plan required
Competency in Microsoft Office required
Strong verbal/written communication and follow up skills required
Technical knowledge or understanding of coordinating, configuring and building healthcare IT to drive quality improvement, meaningful use and safety goals required
Knowledge of the regulatory requirements for health system EHR's required
Ability to work independently and collaboratively for content build/project/upgrade as delegated by project manager/director required experience in change management required
Experience in intra-system design highly preferred
Must be open to ambiguity in working with new technologies and will have a desire to work with their leaders to develop new processes and workflows.
