Infosys is seeking a skilled
Major Incident Manager to join our Team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with understanding of major incident management, managing bridge calls, RCA and postmortem details.
Required Qualifications:
- Candidate can work remotely from any locations within the U.S. This position may require travel to project location.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
- At least 4 years of Information Technology experience
- At least 4 years of experience with Major Incident Management.
- Drive bridge calls to coordinate all stakeholders and direct towards resolution of issues
- Lead the incident management process for high-priority incidents, ensuring timely resolution and minimal business impact.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including IT, operations, and customer service to resolve incidents efficiently.
- Maintain detailed incident records, create post-incident reports, and conduct root cause analysis to prevent future incidents.
- Implement and enhance incident management frameworks, ensuring alignment with ITIL best practices.
- Provide regular updates to senior leadership and stakeholders on incident status and resolution progress.
- Participate in RCA and postmortem discussions

Preferred Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of: ITIL and process changes
- Extraordinary Planning, Project Management, Coordination, and Analytical skills
- Hands-on experience in working in Global Delivery Model with onsite/offshore resources
- Exceptional Organizational Skills
- Ability to manage and prioritize tasks efficiently
- Readiness to demonstrate a proactive attitude
- Solid attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills are required
- Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face.
Estimated annual compensation range for this role will be as follows:
In CA/ WA / NY / CO: $73,000 to $102,200
In Washington, DC: $66,500 - $100,300
