Major Gifts Officer

The Major Gift Officer (MGO) will have responsibility for a portfolio ofmajor giving partners involved in regular support of Grace Works.
- This position is focused on developing trusted relationships with current and new donors with the goal of deepening their connection to the ministry while also encouraging their stewardship and giving.
- Makestrategic cultivation, solicitation, or stewardship contacts each year to current and prospective major gift partners to steward and encourage the donor toward a major gift investment based on their passions and interests.
- Develop and implement a cultivation and solicitation strategy for each assigned major gift donor.
- Prepare written proposals, informational materials, and other materials needed to secure planned and major gifts from individuals, and foundations.
- For each major gift partner managed, develop appropriate stewardship activities within the context of the overall stewardship plan.
- Assist with the training and utilization of volunteers and other key staff who may be key in helping with cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of major giving partners.
