Maintenance Worker
JOB TITLE: Maintenance Worker
ORGANIZATIONAL UNIT: Land Operations
SUPERVISOR: Director of Maintenance
Pay Range: $14.00 - $20.00 per hour
FLSA: Non-Exempt
ALL FULL TIME POSITIONS: In addition to your pay, your salary also includes Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance. The Biweekly deduction from employee paycheck is $40.00 for Employee Only, $95.00 Employee plus Children, $120.00 Employee plus Spouse, $140.00 Employee plus family.
JOB SUMMARY: Perform laboring work in maintaining the Tribal complex building and grounds in a clean and orderly condition.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
? Keep grounds and buildings maintained by repairing any breakdowns in the physical structure of the building
? Perform duties as assigned by supervisor
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Perform other duties and projects as required by management
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONSIDERATION:
? Basic knowledge of standard operating procedures for mechanical equipment
? Skill in operating tractors, mowers, brush hog, backhoes and various motor vehicles
? Basic knowledge of landscaping
? Ability to interact with Tribal employees, Tribal members, vendors, and the general public
? Basic carpenter skills and knowledge of hand tools. (chainsaw, weed eater , wood chipper, back hoe)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to work in adverse conditions such as inclement weather and cramped conditions while repairing and maintaining buildings and grounds. Ability to lift weight in excess of 50 pounds in performance of assigned duties.
