About this Position:
This job supports others either by teaching or training associates new to the area or new to a zone, helping the LSS with various types of paperwork and planning, helps plan shutdown activity required in each zone or area, assures equipment is ready for use (tools and coolant concentration management), and leads quality containment efforts if needed. Provides leadership and direction in the absence of the LSS for assigned line.
Responsibilities include:
- Training and operation of all equipment on your assigned line.
- Understand Operation std., PQCTs, Quality check sheets & tooling for assigned line
- Assist and lead as necessary in controlling daily production (WIP, tool changes, lot controls etc.)
- Vacation coverage for associates (LSS, PA)
- Assist in maintaining Quality fixtures & gauges. Report any issues to the LSS/QTC
- Complete Daily report and communicate relevant issues to the next shift when LSS is absent
- Perform part repairs
- Support weekend production, machine repairs and NM activity
- Support shutdown activity to make line improvements.
- Support new equipment installation and testing.
