Load Builder

Responsibilities: • Use forklift to build outgoing orders for lumber and building materials. • Use forklift to load or unload completed orders onto delivery equipment maintaining safe procedures and stacking methods. • Double checking all loads for accuracy and ensuring that they are thoroughly secured for delivery. • Follow safety procedures as outlined by company safety program and operator manual for forklift. • Keep all areas stocked and neat to facilitate efficient load building processes. • Keep management aware of any delays or discrepancies. • Treat all customers and coworkers in a helpful and professional manner, providing excellent customer service. Qualifications: • Previous warehouse and forklift experience • Solid organizational skills and attention to detail • Ability to read and interpret orders and invoices • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions • Ability to multi-task in fast paced environment. • Experience working in a team atmosphere. • Ability to lift 75-100 pounds consistently • Must take and pass drug test and consent to a background check • Knowledge of dimension lumber, panel products, and other building materials is preferred We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
